Defining a "Solid White" 

For the purpose of the White Dove Classic, we define the term Solid White as any bird that has 100% completely white feathers. This includes the head, neck, breast, body, back, rump, tail, shoulders, wings, flight feathers, or feathers on legs (grousing or boots).

If the bird has any grizzle coloration (red, grey, blue or black) on any part of its body (head, neck, flight feathers or tail) it will be deemed as a Grizzle and placed in The Grizzle Race accordingly.

Eyes, Beak, Legs or Toenails may be any color.

2nd Annual White Dove Classic & Grizzle Race

(Birds must be 100% SOLID WHITE for the White Dove Classic)

  • Entries must be permanently banded with either an AU or IF band ONLY!
  • All birds will be quarantined for 21 Days prior to entering the main loft! They will be vaccinated against Paramyxovirus (PMV), Paratyphoid and Pre-Treated for Canker, Coccidiosis, Worms, Feather Lice, Mites and Pigeon Fly during this time.  
  • Taking birds from March 1st through June 1st. Replacements accepted until June 1st.  
  • Perch Fee - $40.00 per bird or 4/$150 due when you ship your birds. The perch fee is non-refundable.
  • Race Fee - $75.00 per bird, due before the first official race. The birds will be trained out to 80 miles, about 14 days prior to the first official race. Your entry fee(s) will be due at that time. 
  • No Cut – All entry fees will be paid out in prize money!
  • Both races will be released separately. The White Dove Classic will be listed as an A Race while the Grizzle Race will be listed as a B Race and released 30 minutes apart. Results will be posted on our website.
  • Birds not activated will be available for other participants (Swap Shop) but the birds still remain the property of the breeder. Prize money will NOT be split.
  • We will use the Unikon Electronic Clocking System for the official races. 
  • There are NO BUY BACKS or AUCTIONS. All birds will be returned to the owner after the final race. Owner pays the shipping fee. Birds not claimed by the cut-off date become the property of Timber Lofts.
  • Payouts will be by CLOCKING ORDER ONLY. If there is a tie, that prize is split equally.
  • No birds bred by Timber Lofts will be entered.
